Example: Ana checks 8 Oct 2026 after a stay from 1–20 May and a stay from 15 Sep with Still there checked. She has used 44 days. That leaves 46 days; if you stay on, leave by 13 Dec 2026. The first day comes back on 28 Oct, with 20 days coming back from then.
We count up to the date you pick — pick a future date to plan your next trip. The leave-by date assumes you stay on continuously. Days coming back include later dated stays you entered; a stay marked Still there is closed at the date you check for this projection.
Add your stays in the Schengen area and the date to check. Count both entry and exit days within the last 180 days, including the date you check. Subtract those days from 90 to see your days left.
No. It is a rolling window, not a reset. Each day the window moves forward by one day. Counted days come back one by one as they fall outside the 180-day window.
Yes. Both the day you arrive and the day you leave count. Entering and leaving on the same day uses one day. Overlapping stays count each day once.
A counted day comes back 180 days after it happened. Next day back shows the first such day in your current window. Days coming back also accounts for later dated stays you entered, so a planned stay can delay that return.
